Rear camera layout of OnePlus’s next flagship
In a teaser picture for the smartphone, the OnePlus 10 Pro is presented and the device is slated to go on sale in China on January 11th, before expanding to the rest of the world later in the year. In a Weibo post, OnePlus CEO Pete Lau earlier announced that the phone would be unveiled in January.
Although the teaser image only shows the back of the phone, it indicates that the 10 Pro will include three rear cameras with the Hasselblad label.
The collaboration between OnePlus and the Swedish camera maker began with last year's OnePlus 9, when the two firms collaborated on the colour tuning of the phone's images, with generally positive results.
Meanwhile, the image also verifies the phone's camera bump design, which has already been seen in leaks by Twitter tipster @OnLeaks and 91Mobiles. Although the exact specifications of these cameras have yet to be announced, rumours indicate that the OnePlus 10 Pro will include a 48-megapixel primary camera, a 50-megapixel ultrawide camera, an 8-megapixel telephoto camera, and a 32-megapixel selfie camera.
Oneplus 10 Pro Specs
The device will apparently be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 CPU, 8GB or 12GB of RAM, 128GB or 256GB of storage, and a 5,000mAh battery.
In addition, there is an IP68 designation for dust and water protection. The characteristic OnePlus three-stage ringer button, which previously allowed users to effortlessly convert the phone between vibrating and quiet modes, can also be seen in the official picture released today.
OnePlus has not disclosed a release date for the OnePlus 10 series outside of China, however 91Mobiles earlier speculated that a worldwide release might occur in April.
