Africa's leading telecom company MTN looks to rebrand it's corporate logo for its "Ambition 2025" strategy, MTN has announced plans to rebrand. The goal is to build "leading digital platforms for Africa's progress."

the prior logo was removed from corporate headquarters signage in Johannesburg, South Africa, the change was made public.

An oval bordered by all-blue letters has been replaced with the classic red, white, and blue letters. "Y'ello" appears in white beneath the MTN logo in the new style.

On February 27, MTN Group's chief sustainability and corporate affairs officer, Nompilo Morafo, accepted the changes and announced that the new name will be unveiled in conjunction with a marketing campaign."

MTN will debut a new brand identity and campaign on February 27 as part of our commitment and focus on accelerating Africa's progress." Morafo remarked that "all change comes from action," and that the campaign is based on the idea that "doing is a bridge between can and done."

Additional information indicates that the telecommunications behemoth is transforming into a technology company "underpinned by one basic and consistent yet attractive brand."

Restyling logos, colour palettes, visual language, and photographic style are all common parts of this process, in addition to strategic repositioning.
