Apple Planing 1st Launch Event March 8 Unveils 5G iPhone SE and more
It has been reported that Apple is planning to hold its first event of 2022 in early March. On or around March 8, a new iPhone SE 3, an improved iPad Air 5, and iOS 15.4 are all expected to be unveiled at Apple's virtual event, according to the storey.

Apple is building a new Mac powered by Apple-designed CPUs that may be released as early as March, according to the storey. Furthermore, A "record-breaking year for product debuts" is expected to begin during the event, according to Bloomberg. There is a good chance that the meeting will take place virtually rather than in person because of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

The report cautions that "manufacturing delays or other alterations" may cause the event's date to shift. The 8th of March falls on a Tuesday, which is the day on which Apple often holds its press conferences. Assuming that the March 8 event truly does take place, we expect invites to be sent out about the week before the event. Apple has often offered one week's notice for virtual events during the COVID-19 pandemic.

According to Bloomberg, the new iPhone SE 3 and enhanced iPad Air will be shown during the event. According to reports, the upcoming iPhone SE will sport an A15 chipset and 5G connectivity for the first time.

A15 CPU and 5G connectivity are also expected to be in the new iPad Air. Apple is also expected to release iOS 15.4 in the first half of March, according to Bloomberg. New emojis, support for masks in Face ID (as well as Universal Control), and a host of other new features have been included in iOS 15.4 for beta testing.

This March 8 event may see the introduction of a new Mac featuring Apple silicon, according to Bloomberg. Unfortunately, there are still many unanswered questions surrounding this incident. Apple is said to be working on a new Mac mini, Mac Pro, iMac Pro, and a revised MacBook Air, among other new Apple Silicon Macs.

Meanwhile, other reports is the launch of Samsung's new flagship the Galaxy S21 Ultra line-up which is currently scheduled on February 9 along with the roll out of a new tab device. According to Samsung the event will be held virtually inline with the ongoing virus spread control protocol.
