New iPad Pro Might Feature Large Glass Apple Logo For MagSafe Wireless Charging

Last year, Bloomberg's Mark Gurman and Debby Wu revealed that Apple had tested a redesigned iPad Pro with a glass back for wireless charging. Gurman stated in a recent edition of his newsletter that the next iPad Pro would be available in 2022.
While the upcoming iPad Pro is still expected to include wireless charging, Filipe Espósito at 9to5Mac claimed today that Apple may have ditched the glass back design during testing owing to breakability concerns. According to the story, which cites insiders familiar with Apple's design ambitions, Apple has built iPad Pro prototypes with a bigger Apple logo made of glass, which would still allow for wireless charging.

One of the prototypes is claimed to include a MagSafe with stronger magnets than the iPhone to avoid unintentional damage, as well as quicker wireless charging speeds than the iPhone's MagSafe.
Given that Apple internally prototypes various items, there is no certainty that the iPad Pro with a glass Apple logo will ever be published, but speculation tends to agree that the next iPad Pro will feature a new design of some kind to enable wireless charging. Beyond the 2022 period, a more exact release date for the item is unknown.
