Apple today published a standalone “Device Support Update” for macOS Big Sur. According to the tech giant, this new minor update ensures proper updating and restoring for iOS and iPadOS devices with a Mac. There were no further or additional details as to what to expect or anything provided.

It’s likely that the update improves the Finder support for newly released devices, as well as the iPhone 13 models, the new iPad mini, and the ninth-generation iPad.
